CONTAINERIZED WATER TREATMENT PLANTS

INTRODUCTION

—————–

BIDATEK® offers a range of treatment plants aimed at obtaining water for human consumption, according to the quality standards established by the local authorities and the WHO (World Health Organization) standard. They are designed using a combination of technologies for the elimination of the different pollutants present in the water supply, establishing minimum and maximum values of mineral content, pH values, germs, etc.

The entire plant is built based on standard 20 or 40 feet containers according to ISO standard, using the sidewalls of the container as part of the tanks necessary for the operation of the plant.

TYPES OF CONTAINERIZED PLANT

BIDATEK® offers two types of containerized treatment plants, as the technology with which they are equipped will vary depending on the origin of the water to be treated. These two types are the following:
According to the characteristics of the water to be treated we choose the specific treatments designed to guarantee the quality and safety of the drinking water. We also have soft technologies such as slow filters, which allow low-cost water purification in small communities, with technologies approved by the WHO.

BENEFITS

Our containerized plants have the following benefit for their users:
  • Clean drinking water: Outlet drinking water conforming to the WHO specifications (World Health Organization) or to higher customer’s demands.
  • Compact transport by using the structure of the container.
  • Minimum civil works requirements: only small ditches and foundations.
  • Simple and quick assembly as all its elements are inside the containerized structure.
  • Easy commissioning: ready and preassembled plant.
  • Simple operation: robust technologies with easy operation.
  • Centralized operation: General electric board in the container structure.
  • Robust maintenance: High quality equipment.
  • Portable: possibility of relocating the mobile unit.

CHARACTERISTICS OF TREATED (DRINKING) WATER

The water treated in this type of containerized plant ensures the following minimum quality levels:
CHARACTERISTICS OF TREATED (DRINKING) WATER:
  • Turbidity: <5 NTU
  • Color: <15 TCU
  • Taste and smell: negligible
  • pH: 6.5-8.5
  • Residual chlorine (mg / l): 1-2 mg/l after 30 minutes contact
  • Faecal coliforms: 0 CFU / 100 ml
  • Total coliforms: 0 CFU / 100 ml
