07 May The containerized compact reverse osmosis plant manufactured by Bidatek is already producing water in Qatar

The compact containerized desalination plant manufactured by Bidatek for being installed in Al Khor, Qatar, is already producing drinking water.

The reverse osmosis plant has a generation capacity of 100 m3 / h and will work powered by solar energy. The commissioning of the compact plant has not been without difficulties, because it has been carried out during the period of confinement caused by the Covid-19 and has required a great effort of coordination between BIDATEK engineers at company’s headquarters and its subsidiary’s workers in Qatar.

The infrastructure where the compact water treatment plant has been installed is completed with a solar park with a generation capacity of 700 kW / hour and will supply Bidatek´s plant with electricity for producing drinking water for human consumption, water for agricultural irrigation and livestock activities in Al Khor area.
